Tasks:
preparation, planning and execution of integration tests for O&M features of 3G network, integration of O&M functionalities, controlled by Radio Commander, (OMC) to the UTRAN network test case definition and description, writing of technical documentation about test specification and strategy 
practical execution of tests, error analysis and error tracking

Know How / Experience:
Experience in integration or system test for TMN (telecommunication management network),
Knowledge about main functionalities and procedures in 2G and 3G mobile communication networks (GSM, GPRS, UMTS)
OSI layer model
Usage of documentation like 3GPP, ITU, ETSI etc.
GDMO, ASN1, reading of Information Models
UNIX (knowledge of an experienced user, or administrator, shell scripts)
Good knowledge of English mandatory required, knowledge of German would be helpful for easy cooperation in the team

Anforderungen: Special know how:
ATM Transport Network principles
Physical Layer Transport Network (SDH/PDH: STM1, E1, IMA, fractional ATM) 
CCS#7 Protocol
TMN interfaces: Q3 interface, CORBA interface
Analysis of interface protocols with trace equipment (e.g. Agilent Signaling Advisor, Tektronix K1297, Corba Tracer)
- Equipment Management (Configuration, Diagnostic Tests, Plug&Play, Faults)
Software Management (Downloading/Activation of SW, Patches, FW, creating/activating fallbacks)
